A Sidewalk Sale Permit (PDF) is required for any person(s) planning to sell items on public sidewalks for the benefit of a group or organization. The City of Patterson utilizes the Encroachment Permit application to issue this permit and liability insurance certification & endorsement is required. The sale of food / items on public sidewalks for personal profit is not allowed. If food is prepared, served, or sold on public streets, the county Health Department must be contacted at (209) 525-4154, at least 2 weeks in advance. Sidewalk access must be maintained at all times. Sidewalk site cleanup is the responsibility of the applicant.
