WQCF Phase 3A

Overview 

The Project will expand the City’s wastewater system by implementing improvements across multiple stages of treatment throughout the Water Quality Control Facility (WQCF) to accommodate future wastewater flow demands associated with the City’s anticipated rapid growth. The Project includes upgrades to the influent pump station, North Plant, South Plant, access roads, and operational systems and programs. In addition, the Project will install a Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) superstructure and sludge drying infrastructure.

Auburn Construction was awarded the construction contract in April of 2025, and construction commenced in July. The project is on schedule and is anticipated to be completed in the beginning of 2027.
