The Downtown Modesto Partnership has announced the end of its RAD Card program. The program will formally terminate on November 18, 2025.
RAD Card participants are encouraged to use any remaining program funds before the termination date. To date, the RAD Card program has generated over $565,400 in total sales within Patterson.
The RAD Card program was originally created, in partnership with the Downtown Modesto Partnership and Stanislaus County, to help boost local downtown economies in response to the impacts of COVID-19, using matching funds provided through government-issued pandemic relief. In some communities, RAD Card accounts were boosted with COVID-19 relief dollars from local governments, allowing users to double their spending power for a limited time. In 2022, the City of Patterson allocated $225,000 for matching funds to help further benefit small businesses in the Patterson community.
