Division

The Parks & Landscape Division oversees the upkeep of more than 63 areas comprising parks, basins, streetscapes, and features, totaling 141 acres of parkland and landscape. Presently, Patterson boasts 25 play structures and 53 park facilities. The maintenance activities include:

  • Play structure inspections
  • Emergency and routine maintenance of play structures
  • Maintenance of landscaping in public right-of-way and streetscapes
  • Maintenance of irrigation systems and turf
  • Grass seeding and fertilizing
  • Litter and trash pickup
  • Repair of vandalism and damage

The city is a "Tree City USA" and has trained personnel to maintain the City's Urban Forest.  The city also has an ISA Certified Arborist on staff to help support the care of the City's trees.
